Q: Where are Your Local Plumber based?
A: Our head office is in Mount Albert, however we have qualified tradesmen based throughout Auckland. Especially useful for any emergency requests.
Q: How far will you travel for work?
A: Your Local Plumber will travel anywhere for you. As we are a business, we naturally have to cover our costs accordingly. This would be reflected in our quote and invoice to you. We have done work as far afield as Coromandel, South Head and Waiuku.
Q: What guarantees do Your Local Plumber offer?
A: We fully guarantee all our work for a minimum of two to three years according to the service performed. If you discover an issue once we have completed a job, we endeavour to return within 24 hours to resolve the situation. As part of our commitment to you, we are qualified Master Plumbers. Should you wish, you can contact this organisation for impartial independent advice regarding our services, any recommendations we may make or for any other reason.
Q: If you come to resolve an issue, but discover you can’t do anything, do I still have to pay?
A: Unless there is a really good reason as to why not, then standard industry practice is to charge a minimum fee. This very rarely happens. As fully qualified and experienced professionals we have seen almost everything and there is very little we feel we could not address to your satisfaction.

A: No, we charge for our time to give advice and guidance, this is our expertise, however if you go ahead with the job then this fee is refundable.
Q: Can I call you to talk about my DIY plumbing?
A: Some customers certainly ring us for DIY advice, however it normally develops into us giving them a quote to repair work done. Please remember, Your Local Plumber are trained professionals and as such are best suited for all the plumbing, drainage, roofing and gas fitting jobs you may have.

A: Please do not hesitate to call the office immediately and ask for the General Manager. If he is unavailable ask to speak with Dan Pollard our Director.

A: Your Local Plumber are more than happy to give you a quote for free. However, we will only do so on jobs that are going to take longer than three hours. Quotes are given when you know what work you want us to undertake, when you don’t know what you want done, we can provide and advice service. Please see our pricing section for more information.

A: People often confuse advice for quotes. The key difference is with asking someone to provide you with a quote, you know exactly what you require; with advice, you do not and need their expertise to guide you. With a quote, you (the client) will generally be providing drawings or specifications to outline the task. Your Local Plumber charge a one-off refundable fee for providing advice.
